Be Kind to Humankind Week is August 25-31, 2022. This is a week that asks everyone to be thoughtful, reflective, and a little bit kinder to people. Globally recognized, this week was started by Lorraine Jara in 1988. The quote on her website says, “It never hurt anyone to be a little kinder.”
So much has been inspired by this movement. A powerful story prompted her actions and shows that one person can make a difference. After all, she started a movement that has spread around the world. And now we have a week of thoughtful and reflective messages, one for each day of the week, inspiring us to add kindness to our lives.
This is the story of ClipDifferent. One person, Tom McMullen Jr., saw firsthand that his sister, then his wife, and countless others struggled to do routine things for themselves, among those things, the task of clipping their fingernails.
